How can we help?
Action plan views
There’s a view for everyone! Perfony offers 4 different views of action plans to make them easier to read:
- The list view
- Gantt view
- Kanban view
- Table view
The table below summarises the action views by menu:
The “List” view
It is available by default in the ‘Meetings’, ‘Folders’ and ‘Actions’ menus. Each action is a line and the sub-actions are offset below it.
Key information appears on the line, and clicking on the name of the action opens a pane on the right with details of the information and fields for modifying it.
You can customise the display of the list by compressing the action lines or opening them to hide or display more information about the actions. .
You can also choose to show or hide sub-actions in action plans in list view. .
The “Gantt” view.
This Gantt view is available from the ‘Folders’ and ‘Meetings’ menus. It is used to spread actions over a calendar and to create dependency links between actions.
- From a folder you can expand the view so that it takes up the whole page
- A range of information can be displayed, sorted and filtered.
- You can also reorder the columns by dragging and dropping them onto the column title.
Warning, To be displayed in a Gantt, an action must have a due date. Actions ‘for the record’ and ‘with no due date’ will not be displayed.
The “Kanban” view
This view is available from the ‘Folders’ and ‘Actions’ menus. It’s a simple kanban that divides actions into four key statuses: 0%, in progress (20%-80%), completed (100%) and finally closed.
- You can enlarge the page view for a larger display
- You can filter actions according to who is responsible for them
- You can view the actions of the sub-folders in your selected folder
- Changing the silo of an action is done by drag and drop
- A first click on an action opens a first level of information, a second click opens a popin allowing access to all the information on the action without leaving the Kanban.
Table view
This view, available from the ‘Actions’ menu, displays actions in a spreadsheet-like format.
- To display this view, click on the corresponding icon
- Columns can be customised and their order can be changed by dragging and dropping them from the column header.
- When you click on an action, the details and edit fields are displayed in the right-hand pane.
